Wenger keen to keep Nasri at Arsenal
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in the playmaker.

London: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has assured the club's supporters of his resolve to keep midfielder Samir Nasri this summer. The 24-year-old Frenchman is a reported target of Premier League rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

However, Wenger insists the club will do everything to avoid the blow of the star moving to a domestic competitor.

"We will do everything to keep Nasri at the club," the manager said, according to Sky Sports. "My wish is that he stays here.

"If he looks back he can see that he's come quite a long way with us, and I think there is still a bit to do.

"It's the club that makes the player's career."

However, Wenger was less convinced the potential departures of defender Gael Clichy and Barcelona target Cesc Fabregas could also be avoided.

"Obviously we want them to stay," the Gunners boss said of the two players.

"They are part of Arsenal and big players for the club so we want them to stay, but we will see."
