Industrial Training Institute has started a course in computer-related training in Nagaur, Rajasthan, as per News18. A teacher engaged in teaching this course, Devendra, said that it is called Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA). According to the teacher, with adequate knowledge of this trade or course, you can secure a place in government and private jobs.

In this course, five subjects related to computers, are taught to the students. These subjects are MS Office, database management, website development, cyber security and cloud computing. The course is completed in 9 to 10 months. Devendra said that there are no age criteria for getting admission to this course. This course, however, extends to only those candidates who are preparing for the competitive exams.

To secure admission, it is mandatory to clear Class 10. In the ITI COPA trade, you are taught the work of a computer operator as well as a programming assistant. The job of a computer operator includes operating the input and output devices of the computer. They are also required to procure the backup of the computer system and check whether there are any error messages on the computer screen. They also sort the problems related to typing, making Excel sheets and managing data. On the other hand, the job of Programming Assistant is to install, maintain and update computer programs.

The skills acquired at the COPA will equip the candidates to render their services in various sectors. This includes the Central Railway, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation, and Indian Army. In the private sector, candidates can get employment in eMitra. The eMitra is a government portal and it enables the citizens of Rajasthan to apply for various services online. These services include water, electricity bill payments and others. The candidates can also work as website developers, and freelancers and can open their computer centre. The advantage of going through an ITI course in Copa Trade is that one can get abundant information related to computers. This information includes knowledge related to web-designing languages like JavaScript, HTML and others.
