Indian Bank has announced openings for 146 Specialist Officer posts. The application process is scheduled to start on March 12 and the deadline for submission is set for April 1. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply via the official website of Indian Bank at indianbank.in.
As per the official announcement, each candidate is only eligible to apply for a single position, and no candidate may submit more than one application. If more than one application is submitted, only the most recent legitimate application (finished) will be kept, and the application price and notification costs paid for the other multiple registration(s) will be forfeited.
Notably, the number of vacancies, including reserved vacancies, is provisional and subject to change based on the actual requirements of the Bank. The reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) is implemented on a horizontal basis. Selected candidates will be placed in the appropriate category (SC/ST/OBC/Unreserved) to which they belong.

Step 1: Open the official website of Indian Bank at indianbank.in.
Step 2: Click on the career tab present on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, click on the “Recruitment of Specialist Officers-2024.”
Step 4: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 5: On the new page, click on the option that reads, “Click here for New Registration.”
Step 6: Register, fill out the application form and upload all the required documents.
Step 7: After filing the form, submit the fees and take a printout of the confirmation for future reference.
Indian Bank Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process for Indian Bank Recruitment 2024 will consist of a Written/Online Test followed by an Interview. The details regarding the same will be conveyed later. However, the structure of the test will be as follows:
–– Professional Knowledge (Respective Domain): This section will comprise 60 questions, carrying a total of 60 marks. Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete this section.
–– English Language: This section will contain 20 questions, accounting for 20 marks. Candidates will be allotted 30 minutes to complete this section.
–– General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry: In this section, candidates will face 20 questions, worth 20 marks. The duration for this section will be 15 minutes.
Indian Bank Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
Applicants are required to pay a nominal application fee to complete the submission process. The fee structure stands at Rs 175 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWBD categories, while other candidates are required to pay Rs 1000.
