The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already announced the results of the much-anticipated Class 12 board exam on May 13. This year, around 17,00,041 students appeared for the exams, and more than 24,000 students received scores above 95 per cent in board exams. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 87.98 per cent this year. The results of the CBSE class 12 board examinations are available on various websites, such as cbse.gov.in, and results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. Students can also download their results on the DigiLocker app and website (results.digilocker.gov.in).
Meanwhile, Shweta Kumari, a resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, has become the district topper in the arts stream by securing 98.4 per cent marks in board exams. Upon the announcement of class 12 results, Shweta Kumari spoke to Local 18 and expressed that the result was no less than a surprise to her. She worked hard continuously, but she never thought that she would top the district. She further dedicated her success to her parents and teachers, who helped her in whatever way possible.
She went on to say that she studied consistently for four to five hours every day for two years, without missing even a single day. Her commitment to her goal was very clear. She wants to join the civil service in the future, as she aspires to serve the nation by becoming an IAS officer. This was the only reason that she took up the arts, as she believed that it would make it easier to prepare for civil service.
Shweta added, “My parents had never put any pressure on me. Throughout the preparatory process, I left no room for uncertainty. Rather, whatever topic I read, I made sure to read every concept and angle of it in depth. I believe that instead of reading a lot, it is better to read a little but thoroughly.”
Moreover, Shweta said that there is no alternative to hard work. An individual will have to work hard and study attentively for at least 4 to 5 hours every day. She said, “I studied regularly throughout the year, so at the time of the exam, I did not study for 15–16 hours. Even during the examination, I used to study only for four to five hours.”
Sharing her success mantra, Shweta said, “Consistency, hard work, discipline, concentration, and commitment, when these 5 things are combined, then success is certain.”
Notably, girls outperformed boys by more than 6.40 per cent, with almost 91 per cent of girls passing the board examinations. Girls have recorded a pass percentage of 91.52 per cent, while the overall pass percentage among boys was 85.12 per cent. In addition to that, transgender people have recorded a pass percentage of 50 per cent this year.
