Tamil Nadu Govt Permits Morning Shows For Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo
The government has permitted theatres to hold special shows for six days from October 19 to October 24.

Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo will be released on the big screens on October 19. Fans are looking forward to this much-awaited film with great excitement. As the release date is nearing, the producers at Seven Screen Studios (the production house for Leo) approached the Tamil Nadu government asking for permission to hold early morning shows. These early morning shows will be for the slots of 04:00 a.m. and 07:00 a.m. in the first week.

The government has permitted theatres to hold special shows for six days from October 19 to October 24 after holding discussions. As per the official order, cinema halls can screen a maximum of five shows per day. According to a report published in India Today, the timings of the morning shows are yet to be finalised. Further, the government pointed out that “adequate arrangements should be made with the cooperation and security of the police department without causing any health impairment and overcrowding in theatres".

Sun TV unveiled the trailer of Leo on October 5 and it has received a staggering 48 million views so far. The trailer reveals that Leo revolves around a “mild-mannered" cafe owner who becomes a hero amongst the locals via an act of violence. He, however, soon starts to face consequences in connection to his past life. Not only do we see Vijay’s past life haunting him in the movie, but we also see a vicious Sanjay Dutt as the villain.

Social media users loved the trailer and one of them commented, “Many directors when working with Vijay, write a story with Vijay in mind, therefore the action and story is limited (like Beast). Whereas Loki (Lokesh Kanagaraj), who wrote a story with no limits and wild actions, decided that Vijay was the one capable of perfectly executing this role. This is why Leo will work and be a breakthrough in South Indian cinema history!"

Vijay’s fans are also eagerly looking towards watching Leo because of his chemistry with the female lead Trisha Krishnan. Vijay and Trisha have entertained the audience with their films like Ghilli, Thirupaachi and others.
