Apart from being famous for its action genre, Tamil films have now started to shed light on societal topics such as castism and racism through their movies. The latest Tamil film Maamannan is one such classic example of the same. Let us take a look at some of the Tamil releases on December 1.

Annapoorani:

It is one of the most anticipated Tamil movies which stars actress Nayanthara in the lead role. The film is directed by the debutant director Nilesh Krishnaa. It is jointly produced by Jatin Sethi and R Ravindran under Zee Studios. The film follows the story of Annapoorani, a character, played by Nayanthara, who dreams of being a chef. The music of the movie is given by Thaman S.

Naadu:

The critically acclaimed director M Saravanan is coming up with his next film which is titled Naadu. Actors Tharshan and Mahima Nambiar will be playing the lead role in the film. The movie is said to be based on the real-life incidents of the director M Saravanan while he visited Kolli Hills. During an interview, he said that an incident during his journey impacted him drastically and so he decided to make a movie out of it. The music of the film is composed by C Sathya.

Parking:

It is directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan. Actors Harish Kalyan, Indhuja Ravichandran, M.S. Bhaskar, Rama, and Prarthana will be playing the lead roles in the movie. The trailer of the film has created a buzz in the entertainment industry. The movie is about a conflict between two families in the same apartment parking their car. Jiju Sunny handled the cinematography, while the editing was done by Philomin Raj. Sam CS composed the music for the film.
