Mumbai: After a lot of struggle, the market ended lower. The Sensex was down 115.13 points or 0.4 percent at 28071.93, and the Nifty slipped 26.15 points or 0.3 per cent at 8516.90.

Among the losers were Hero, GAIL, ONGC, Tata Motors and Infosys.
