India’s top airline, IndiGo, is gearing up to make flying even more enjoyable for passengers traveling between Delhi and Goa.
Starting May 1, the airline will trial in-flight entertainment accessible through its app, a first for IndiGo, as reported by The Economic Times.
During the three-month trial, passengers can access entertainment content via the IndiGo app once the aircraft reaches cruising altitude. To ensure safety, the service will activate only then, and passengers will need to use their own headphones.
If the trial proves successful, IndiGo plans to roll out the entertainment service across its entire fleet, comprising over 350 planes and operating around 2,000 daily flights.
This move underscores IndiGo’s commitment to enhancing the passenger experience. The introduction of in-flight entertainment aligns with IndiGo’s dedication to customer satisfaction and innovation.
This trial on the Delhi-Goa route is just the beginning, hinting at broader implementation across the airline’s network, promising a significant upgrade to the overall travel experience with IndiGo.
