'My Best Wishes And Love': Hindu-American Lawmaker Tulsi Gabbard Extends Janmashtami Wishes
Tulsi Gabbard, former U.S. presidential candidate, extends warm Janmashtami wishes on X, celebrating Sri Krishna's appearance day with heartfelt greetings

Former US presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard extended her best wishes on Sunday to those celebrating Janmashtami.

Gabbard, a Hindu-American lawmaker, sent her love to everyone observing the day of Lord Krishna’s birth. “My best wishes and love to all those celebrating the appearance day of Sri Krishna. Jai Janmashtami,” Gabbard wrote in a post on the social media platform ‘X’.

Gabbard chose to take her congressional oath of office on the Bhagavad Gita, a Hindu scripture, following her 2012 election. She explained that Krishna’s teachings have provided her with wisdom and spiritual solace throughout her life, including during her service in the Middle East during the Iraq War.

The former Democratic Congresswoman and US presidential candidate who ran for White House in 2020 is now a vocal supporter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that Trump has enlisted Tulsi Gabbard to help prepare for his upcoming debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, scheduled for next month in Philadelphia. Gabbard, the former Hawaii Congresswoman, told Fox News on Friday that Trump’s debate preparation is going well.

“He is well-prepared and focused on Kamala Harris’s record,” Gabbard said in an interview with “FOX & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade. “He’s reminding voters of her track record over the past three and a half years and highlighting how her policies have negatively impacted the economy and safety both at home and abroad.”
