Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Orenburg Oblast, commonly known as the Black Dolphin Prison, is one of the world’s most brutal prisons. The testicles of the inmates are reportedly electrocuted. This Russian prison houses some of the world’s most notorious convicts – from serial killers, paedophiles to cannibals. Reportedly, the only way out from this place is death. This high-security jail has trained guards who watch these prisoners around the clock. The inmates have to suffer grisly torture which often leaves them bursting their veins and legs getting beaten by the guards. When they are not beaten or electrocuted, these worse wrong-doers are locked up and forced to hold a swallow yoga position – where the prisoner has to lay on their stomach, lift their arms behind the back and raise their legs.
Reportedly, there are 700 prisoners, together who have killed about 3,500 people, making it an average of five murders per inmate. They are confined to their cells every day until they die and till now, not a single prisoner has ever managed to escape the Black Dolphin Prison.
The guards in the prison make rounds every 15 minutes. If an inmate has to leave their cells, they are made to walk by making them bend at the waist and their arms are held back and raised above the hips. This technique is believed to be a tactic for maximum control depriving the inmate of a view of their immediate surroundings and preventing them from planning an escape.
As soon as a convict is brought to the Black Dolphin Prison, they are immediately explained the rules. If anyone is found to violate these rules, then they end up getting their testicles electrocuted, foot beating or are made to perform dangerous yoga postures. The people inside the prison are serial killers and terrorists who were a part of the crime gangs of the 1980s and 1990s.
Black Dolphin Prison gets its name from the statue of a black-coloured dolphin, which was built by the prisoners.
