In an unexpected but pleasant surprise, Indian music composer AR Rahman had a delightful encounter in Dubai where he spotted a French-Indonesian fan delivering a soul-stirring performance of his timeless song ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’. Rahman who was cruising through Dubai not only stopped his car to enjoy the performance but also recorded her performance as she gave vocals to the patriotic song. Notably, the music maestro who was in the city for a trailer release event got stuck in traffic when the Dubai-born singer and songwriter Celinedee Matahari got the chance to meet her idol, now becoming a viral moment on social media.
The 15-year-old Celinedee also took to her Instagram handle and shared the video, showing her meeting with one of the greatest music composers in the world. While she shared her excitement which can be described as an achievement, she also expressed her gratitude and wrote, “It was such an honor finally meeting the legend AR Rahman. Thank you for letting me sing for you.”
