An elderly man’s interesting account about a stressful incident at a McDonald’s drive-thru went viral on the internet, and we all have a lesson to take home. The viral video was shared by actress Tara Deshpande on her X (Formerly Twitter) account with a caption, “Some wisdom for all of us.”

The video suggests that the old man is speaking at a public forum where he narrates the incident. The man describes how a young woman driving behind him at McDonald’s drive-thru became agitated, started honking, and started using nasty words. One would expect the man to get angry, but instead he made sure to teach her a lesson. The man did not aggravate the situation but astonished her by paying for both the woman’s order and his own. This made the young woman express her appreciation for the surprise treat and feel embarrassed for honking. But that was not it; the man had a surprise in store. He then went on to collect both orders and drove away, leaving the impatient driver to join the back of the queue from the start.

Towards the end of his speech, the old man says, “Don’t blow your horn at old people; we’ve been around for a long time.” This left the audience in splits, and the man himself is seen thumping the dais with joy, clearly enjoying the situation he created.

The post has received about 14,500 views and a slew of reactions from people who could not help but laugh at the story.

I said thank you, you can keep it and walked off.”
