A Jharkhand-based Shah Rukh Khan fan has been camping outside Mannat for 35 in hopes of meeting the star.

A crazy Shah Rukh Khan fan has gone viral for waiting outside the star’s residence for nearly five weeks. Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom knows no bounds with the Bollywood actor having supporters all over the world. Some fans even go to the extent of covering long distances just to get a glimpse of the Indian actor outside his residence Mannat in Mumbai. In a similar case, a fan from Jharkhand named Mohammad Ansari has been camping outside Shah Rukh Khan’s Bungalow for the last 35 days. Instant Bollywood interviewed this fan and shared a clip on Instagram writing, “A crazy fan of Shahrukh Khan from Jharkhand has been waiting outside his house, Mannat, for the last 35 days to meet him.”

In the video, the interviewer asked Mohammad Ansari why he was waiting for such a long time just to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan. The fan responded quickly, “He is my favourite hero. I am his biggest fan. I am here on my own. I want to meet him.” After being asked why he wanted to meet the star, Ansari said, “Just to meet him is the biggest victory. I want to give a message that I have been here for the past 35 days. I have stopped all my business and I just want to get peace. Then I will go back to my village.”

Surprised by the fan’s intense passion for Shah Rukh Khan, several users flocked to the comments section to react to the post. One of them wrote, “Brother, don’t give up, keep going.” Another felt that this wasn’t the right way to meet your dream celebrity and noted, “This already happened before and he met another guy that time. Meeting him will just encourage more people to do the same which is not good.” Another jokingly added, “Fan movie upcoming.” One said, “Oh the long wait times explain the big crowd.”

This isn’t the first time a fan has camped outside Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in hopes of meeting him. Even star actors like Rajkumar Rao underwent the same ordeal to meet Shah Rukh Khan when he arrived in Mumbai years ago. Speaking about the incident he said, “On the last night, we stayed at the railway station itself and ate just vada pav because we were out of money by then. We were here for two days. We used to reach Mannat at 10 am and wait till 4-5 pm, hoping that we would see him [Shah Rukh Khan].”

As for Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood icon is set to feature in the film ‘The King’. His daughter Suhana Khan and co-actor Abhishek Bachchan will also be a part of this film. The King is a Hindi remake of the 1994 French film Leon: The Professional that will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
