The Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) has released the Karnataka National Means Merit Scholarship (NMMS) result. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access and download their Karnataka NMMS 2024 results from the official website, dsert.karnataka.gov.in. The Karnataka NMMS exam was conducted on January 7, 2024, in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and it includes multiple-choice questions.

The exam is divided into two parts: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Each exam carries 90 marks, totalling 180 marks overall. The MAT session consists of questions to test the candidate’s reasoning and critical thinking skills, while the SAT consists of questions from physics, social science, and mathematics. Each test takes place for 90 minutes.

DSER has published Karnataka NMMS district-wise merit lists 2024 that include block, district, students’ names individual marks, aggregate score, registration number and other information. Candidates who qualify for the NMMS scholarship will be entitled to Rs 12,000 each year. The Ministry of Education awards a total of 1,00,000 NMMS scholarships each year to eligible Class 8 students.

Step 4: You will directed to the Karnataka NMMS 2024 district-wise merit list. Candidates can search for their name and registration number to access their results.

Step 5: Carefully review your result.

Step 6: Download and take a printout for future reference.

Karnataka NMMS Result 2024: Qualifying Percentage

In the Karnataka NMMS 2024 Exam, for the MAT section, candidates belonging to the General category need to achieve a minimum score of 40% to qualify, while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates require a minimum score of 32%. Similarly, in the SAT section, the qualifying percentage for the General category is 40%, and for SC, ST, and OBC candidates, it is 32%.

The National Means Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is an examination held every year at the state level in Karnataka. The exam aims to provide financial assistance to qualified students.
