An attempt to act smart turned out to be a hilariously embarrassing situation for a schoolboy after he decided to share some academic advice with two IITians. A video recording from the popular chat service OmeTV capturing their interaction has now gone viral. Shared on the Reddit community JEENEETarts, the video’s caption reads, “IIT Guwahati Students trolling a 2026tard.”
The video begins with the teen discussing the areas where the students faced difficulty. Unaware that they were IITians, the schoolboy was under the impression that they were Class 10 students and had difficulties in dealing with trigonometry. Mentioning that the syllabus was still simpler than that of Class 11, he went on to advise the students to complete the NCERT Exemplar for Mathematics. He also suggested the students be their own teachers while leaving the IITians visibly struggling to contain their laughter.
After a session of the conversation, the schoolboy eventually left the chat, seemingly embarrassed by the situation. The teenage boy’s confident personality and the undergraduate students’ dramatic expressions are hilariously epic.

The video sparked a series of reactions from users. One wrote, “Clown to Clown conversation,” while another user added, “Embarrassing you can pass off as a 10th student in college.”
“Why is the kid acting like India’s got talent contestant Naman Arora..Too much cringe tbh,” a user asked. Another added, “He has a generational fear of trigonometry.” A comment read, “I don’t see any bad advice here and felt that he is a genuine guy although he was a bit overconfident and that’s fair when talking with juniors and u just exposed him to cyberbullying and most probably real-life bullying.”
