These days, more and more people are concerned about their fitness and choose various types of diets to maintain their weight and foster a healthy lifestyle. Among other essential needs in life, people have to put their fitness on their priority list as well. A recent enquiry made on Grapevine reinstated the dedication young individuals have towards their healthy life goals. While it caught the attention of Saumil Tripathi, the platform’s founder, netizens couldn’t get over his quirky demand.

Recently, Saumil Tripathi, the founder of Grapevine, a platform where people may discuss their careers, shared a post about a job enquiry by a techie. He posted a screenshot of the person’s post on X, which has since gone viral. It mentioned that a man with a package of Rs 43.5 LPA posted on Grapevine about his requirements for a new job. In his message, he claimed that he is looking for a company that provides ‘great protein foods’. He reasoned that he is an active gym person and is looking for a company to cover the food costs for all four meals. The job seeker wrote, “Considering joining companies with great protein food and offering food for all 4 meals. I started preparing for Google interviews. Are there any other companies I should target?”

Intrigued by the strange inquiry, the founder Saumil Tripathi re-shared the post saying, “I rarely see people with so much clarity about their priorities and future choices. His reason to get his next job is simple: good food.”

No sooner did the post surface on social media, than the users were left perplexed by the strange demand. It has received over 75, 000 views since being shared. The majority of people couldn’t comprehend how a man couldn’t buy food with such a large income package.

Reading the entire enquiry, a user stated, “The person’s current salary and his/her concern is making me question my life’s choices.”

Another user was unable to comprehend the request and said, “Btw 43Lpa lekar bhi ise food cost high lagra…hadd hai.”

One of them jokingly answered the request saying, “He should join Zomato.. they will take care of him.” While another individual suggested, “With this ctc he can open his own fitness brand.”
