There are many videos of such animal lovers training their pets to discipline them and at other times teach them funny tricks as well. One needs to put immense effort into training them. Have you ever come across someone who can train a housefly? Yes, you read that right, a housefly! As absurd as it may sound, there is a legit viral video which has captured this. While the instant reaction of a person upon seeing a housefly might be to shoo it away, this person decided to train it as if it were their pet. Now it’s time to turn your attention to this insanely viral video on social media that shows a trained housefly. Is that even possible, you ask? Well, the clip proves otherwise.

The viral clip begins with a fly on the table and a finger pats at a certain spot on the surface. Immediately, the fly goes and sits there. The finger then moves to yet another spot, and the fly follows it. Next, the person keeps a small and circular white disc standing near the fly. Instead of flying away, which is their usual defence, this fly turns towards the disc and starts pushing it. The disc begins to roll the other way. The video is bound to leave you shocked because we have never seen a fly understanding signals.

The caption read, “No way he trained a fly?” Undoubtedly the video has garnered immense traction on X (formerly known as Twitter) with 47.7 million views. The comment section was in utter disbelief. One user questioned the authenticity of the video and wrote, “You were right when you said no way because it’s 100% not real.”
