Grandparents always share a special bond with their grandchildren. They are a source of selfless love and care, regardless of whether they live with their grandkids or not. More often than not, they are the primary caregivers in many families where both parents have long hours at work. But as the grandkids grow up, they are occupied with their own hassles of life and hardly have time for the elderly, who remain lonely. Recently, a video is doing rounds on the internet that shows the unconditional affection of a bunch of grandkids for their grandmother.
In the video shared on Instagram, a group of adults are seen waiting outside a door that features some Christmas decorations. As the grandmother opens the door, they shout “Surprise” in unison, and the elderly person is visibly overwhelmed. The grandmother sports a big smile on her face as she welcomes them inside. The entire group is seen hanging out in the living room, playing cards, and gorging on snacks. The text on the clip reads, “We surprised our grandma with a cousin’s sleepover.” The video also mentions that their grandpa passed away in March, and the elderly woman has been very lonely since then. The caption on the video says, “This is your sign to surprise your grandparents with a cousin sleepover.”
