The 27-year-old nurse worked at the same hospital as the two doctors. However, neither of them knew that the nurse was dating both of them at the same time. When both doctors found out that the nurse was double-dating, they both started cursing each other. The situation escalated to the point where one of them ended up in the ICU.
This unusual incident took place at a hospital in Jiangsu province of China. The name of the hospital is Wuxi People’s Hospital. The two doctors, who are 50 years old, fell in love with the nurse while working at the hospital. When they discovered that they were both dating the same woman, they felt jealous which led to a serious brawl. The fight became so intense that one doctor suffered a head injury. The name of the doctor who was injured is Xu. He was first treated at the hospital’s orthopaedics department before being transferred to ICU.
The condition of the injured doctor was so severe that he had to be admitted to the ICU. According to a report by the South China Morning Post, the nurse had been receiving expensive gifts from the doctors. She received a luxurious villa from a doctor and a luxury car from the other.
An official mentioned that they have started an investigation and appropriate action will be taken following the probe. Meanwhile, the nurse has gone back to her home. The official said, “We will look into the matter and will take appropriate action against the person who is responsible for this incident.”
