Playing cricket on any available empty ground is a rite of passage for almost every Indian boy. Grab a bat, and a tennis ball, and improvise stumps with chairs or cycles, and you’re all set. This was exactly the scene on an empty muddy field where a group of men was attempting to play, but their ‘not-so-organised’ pitch was further disorganised by unexpected pitch invaders – bulls. A video of this hilarious incident has now gone viral on social media, leaving everyone in stitches.
The video captures the moment a bull nonchalantly wandered into the middle of the game, prompting immediate evasive actions from the players. The unexpected intrusion caused a mix of amusement and panic as players scrambled to safety, only to find themselves being chased by the bull. Just imagine the sight: players running around not to catch the ball or score runs, but to evade a pursuing bull. This spectacle of cricketers dodging their unexpected opponents entertained onlookers in the background.

“Wow what a fielding by Bull sir …England team should learn from this…” joked one user. “Bull got a better chasing ability than England,” added another.
Even the Rajasthan Royals’ official ‘X’ handle couldn’t resist sharing the viral video, adding the hashtag “#BazBull,” a trending trolling phrase used by Indians on social media to jest at England’s ongoing Test performance.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time such hilarious incidents have unfolded in gully cricket in India. It seems like almost every week or month brings a new, comical twist. Previously, a viral video showcased the game of ‘Swimket,’ where players need swimming skills to participate. In the video, a group of boys plays cricket in a natural setting with a shallow water body nearby. Surprisingly, the batters stand amidst what appears to be a flowing water stream. After the batter hits the ball, both players rush towards each other to score runs. Instead of running on dry ground, they leap into the water to reach the other wicket. However, one batsman promptly gets a run out just as he’s about to make it to safety.
