Anand Mahindra Offers Job To Teen Who Saved Self, Niece From Monkey Attack Using Alexa

In a remarkable display of quick thinking, a girl named Nikita (13) from UP’s Basti district recently caught the attention of Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra group, for her clever handling of a challenging situation by using AI device Alexa. Nikita saved herself and her little niece when monkeys entered their home with the help of the AI device Alexa.

The incident occurred when Nikita visited her sister’s place where she was playing with her one-year-old niece. Suddenly, a monkey barged into their house after some guests left the door open and made its way to the kitchen. The monkey started creating chaos by throwing utensils and approached the girls to attack. Seeing this, the baby got scared and started calling for her mother, which only agitated the monkey further. With her family members in another room, Nikita quickly used Alexa by commanding it to emit barking sounds, scaring away the monkey.

Nikita’s quick thinking earned praises from Anand Mahindra who hailed her action as “extraordinary.” Further, he also expressed his willingness to support her after she completes her education.

The story of this young girl provides comfort that technology will always be an ENABLER of human ingenuity. Her quick thinking was extraordinary. What she demonstrated was the potential for leadership in an entirely unpredictable world.
