Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro in India. The new neckband-style earphones debuted alongside the Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker. As the name suggests, the new Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro come as a successor to the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones, unveiled in the country in July 2019. Notable features of the new Xiaomi wireless earphones include one-click active noise cancellation, 20 hours of music playback time, and an IPX5 rating for dust and water resistance.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro carry a price tag of Rs 1,799. The earphones will directly compete against the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Series that come with a price tag of Rs 1,999. The Xiaomi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro are available in two colour options – Black and Blue and customers can buy the product via Amazon or Xiaomi online and offline channels. Whereas, the Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) price in India is set at Rs 2,499.
As mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro feature a neckband-style design for a more secure fit, especially while running. The wireless earphones also come with the anti-cerumen design that Xiaomi claims is created to help keep the buds clean and wax free. Perhaps the most interesting feature on the Xiaomi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro include the one-click active noise cancellation support (ANC) that makes the device the most affordable pair of ANC-supporting earphones in India. Other features include 10 mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth v5.0, and a Micro USB port for charging. The company claims that the wireless earphones can provide a transmission range of 10 metres.
In terms of battery, Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro are touted to provide 20 hours of music playback time and 200 hours of standby time. The earphones take roughly 1.5 hours to fully charge.
