Nora Fatehi is currently basking in the success of her latest release, Madgaon Express. Nora rose to prominence due to her stellar career as an actress and dancer in Bollywood. In 2018, she starred in the blockbuster music video Dilbar, which has over one billion views on YouTube and has provided her with additional opportunities to showcase her ability. While Nora has become a successful actress, she still remains very careful about her money and expenses.
Recently, Akshay Kumar said that Nora is very particular about her money and called her ‘Gujarati’. The actress responded to this and told Connect FM Canada, “It’s so important. I work 24/7. I’ll do three simultaneous shoots in one day. I work around the clock and have my reasons for doing that. I hear the same for him too. He works hard and is all about his money, and I respect that.”
“My reason is because I am the breadwinner of my family. I take care of my family. I don’t have a man who’s financing my life or paying for my dreams and my rent and all that. I pay for everything myself. I take care of my mom, I take care of my siblings, I take care of my friends,” she said.
The actress added, “A lot of people might think that I developed ‘thick skin’ after these struggles and tears and rejection. But I’ve always had thick skin. I mean, if you know anything about the area where I lived in Toronto, we all have thick skin. It’s a very rough area, we go through a lot there. We’ve witnessed shootings in front of us. If I didn’t have thick skin, I would have not been able to make it through these last 9 – 10 years in India or even in the industry.”
Nora also mentioned that she started earning at the age of 16 and didn’t fully enjoy her youth. Meanwhile, on the work front, Nora was recently seen in Vidyut Jamwal’s Crakk and then in Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut Madgaon Express.
