Xiaomi has been selling the popular Redmi Note lineup in the market for many years now and soon the brand could see a new Note arrival which could give buyers more options. Realme has teased its own Note lineup that could be unveiled in the coming weeks, as highlighted in a post this week. Realme is making some big changes to its product lineup and the early part of 2024 could see multiple launches from the company.
The Realme Note model is expected to compete with the likes of Redmi Note 13 from Xiaomi and other brands like Infinix which also has a Note model. The affordable 5G segment is definitely getting a lot of interest from brands this year and we expect more devices to target buyers in this range, which will excite many people who have been waiting to try out 5G devices in the country.
Realme Note Phone Launch: What Can We Expect From New Xiaomi Rival?
Realme Note is likely to be marketed as a value-for-money series, something that Xiaomi has done really well with the Redmi Note over the years. But it seems the focus of the Redmi Notes has now moved up the price ladder, which is giving other brands a chance to target the consumers. The Realme Note phone could get a 108MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensor.
The brand could pack a 5000mAh battery which is likely to support 67W wired charging speed which does sound ambitious but we’re keen to see if that comes through. When it comes to performance, Realme is tipped to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 mid-range chipset for the Note series, which allows the brand to keep the pricing at a more appealing range. We do expect to see the Android 14-based Realme UI running on the device, which should give it a definite advantage over other budget 5G phones.
Going by all these rumoured features, one could expect the Realme Note to launch for around Rs 13,000 if not slightly higher which gives it enough room to compete and appeal to buyers. The bigger question is whether Realme Note series will be coming to markets like India where it already has other models in the same price range.
