New Delhi: Facebook has yet again tried to bring popular features of photo and video sharing service Snapchat to its social network app.
In the latest update to its iOS app, Facebook now allows you to add stickers to photos from its sticker store, apply filters, and write messages in coloured text before uploading them on the site.
This update is more like a mashup of Facebook’s Slingshot messaging app that let you apply colourful drawings and text to images and its own dedicated Stickered app that combined photos with stickers.
A report on The Verge notes that the update to the iOS app increases the number of photo-editing options for users and the new feature is accessible by pressing the new icon in the lower left corner of the chosen photo.
The feature is currently only available for the iOS app and Android users will have to wait a bit to be able to use the new features.
