New Delhi: OnePlus has announced the launch of the 16GB variant of the OnePlus One smartphone in India. The new version is priced at Rs 18,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon.in starting February 24. Unlike the 64GB variant that comes in Standstone Black, the 16GB edition will be available in Silk White.
In line with OnePlus' invite system, Indian users will need an invite to purchase the Silk White OnePlus One. The same invite, however, can be used to purchase either the 16GB or 64GB version.
To grab an invite, desirous buyers would need to answer a question and fill in an online form. The winners will be chosen at random and will receive their invites on February 23, said OnePlus.
The new version (16GB) is priced less than Rs 1,000 than the similarly-specced Xiaomi Mi4 that comes at Rs 19,999.
The OnePlus One smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It weighs 162g and has a thickness of 8.9mm.
At its heart is Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5GHz quad-core CPUs paired with 3GB of RAM.
The 64GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 21,999.
