Samantha Ruth Prabhu Admits Getting Flowers SCARES Her: 'Last Time They Sent You To...'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently revealed that receiving flowers scares her, as she is allergic to them. The actress took to her Instagram handle, to share a happy photo of herself receiving a bouquet of flowers. That is when, the Family Man 2 actress opened up about the same. She even disclosed that the last time she received flowers, it led to a visit to the emergency room.

The caption in the photo read, “Those mixed feelings when you love these pretty things but are scared AF because the last time, they sent you to the Emergency room. Like who the hell is allergic to flowers?! Tsk .”

Samantha is currently on a break from acting and is battling an autoimmune condition called myositis. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about online negativity and recalled being trolled for presenting her ‘true self, weaknesses, and strengths’ on social media.

“It isn’t easy, but I think I’ve hit a sweet spot in my relationship with social media. It’s enormously fulfilling for me to be my true self and show weaknesses, strengths, and all of the in-between. Of course, ask me again in another week when something I have said or posted incorrectly explodes and I become the target for another trolling fest, and I might have changed my mind, but as of now it’s sort of a sweet spot,” she told Harper Bazaar.

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the romantic film Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana, alongside Vijay Deverakonda. The movie received positive reviews for its engaging storyline and the chemistry between the lead actors. Looking ahead, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to star in the Indian spin-off of Citadel, where she will share the screen with Varun Dhawan. Directed by Raj and DK, this collaboration marks their second project together after The Family Man 2.
