In a bid to downplay reports of rift within the party, the Bharatiya Janata Party included MPs Shatrughan Sinha, Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi in its list of campaigners for the Bihar Assembly elections.
Sources said that the trio was included to avoid any kind of controversy ahead of the polls.
Sinha has in the run-up to the polls often praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and at one instance also threatened the BJP to take action against him.
The sources said that the BJP has submitted a list of 40 leaders to the Election Commission who will campaign in poll-bound Bihar. The list has names of 20 state leaders and 20 national leaders.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the star campaigner and he has already addressed five rallies across the state.
Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Smriti Irani and Rajnath Singh will also campaign for the party.
Party chief Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will also campaign in Bihar.
