Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Friday said that the murder of now defunct Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh should not be politicised. Lalu also commented that there is no law and order in the state.
"Ranvir Sena Chief Mukhiaji is not a small name amongst the farmers of Bihar. The people in the area and across the state are very upset, " pointed Lalu.
The RJD chief also demanded a CBI probe into the murder and asked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to visit the murder site.
A curfew was imposed in Arrah in Bihar after protests against the killing of the Ranvir Sena chief on Friday.
Brahmeshwar Singh was shot dead earlier on Friday morning when he went out for a morning walk. Angry supporters set two tankers and an auto on fire and chased away police personnel who were trying to take the body for an autopsy.
