LF announces candidate for Kalimpong and Srerampore
The number of new candidates of the Left Front stand at 151 for the WB polls.

Kolkata: The ruling Left Front on Thursday announced the names of its candidates for the Kalimpong and Srerampore constituencies which it had left out when it gave out the list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal.

Partha Sarathi Rez of the CPI(M), would contest from the Srerampore seat in Hooghly district, while Bikram Chetri of the same party would be in the fray from Kalimpong in Darjeeling district, Left Front chairman Biman Bose told reporters here.

Both are fresh candidates, thus taking the number of new candidates of the Left Front to 151 in the upcoming Assembly elections.

On Sunday, the Left Front had announced its list of candidates for the election but had left out the names of the candidates for the Kalimpong and Srerampore seats.
