As many as 60 people have been named in the FIRs including Durai Dayanidhi, in connection with the scam.
Chennai: A Madurai court on Monday granted anticipatory bail to the son of DMK MP Alagiri, Durai Dayanidhi, who is wanted in 30,000 crore illegal granite mining scam.
A total of 17 FIRs have been filed against eight companies, including Olympus, in connection with the scam. As many as 60 people have been named in the FIRs including Dayanidhi.
Tamil Nadu Police had issues a lookout notice against Dayanidhi on August 31, 2012. Police had also asked the immigration department to stop Dayanidhi, who was a director in Olympus Granite till 2010, from leaving the country.
