The accident took place when Munde was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport to fly to Mumbai.
New Delhi: Union Minister Gopinath Munde was injured in a road accident in Delhi on Tuesday morning. He was first admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and then shifted to the AIIMS trauma centre.
Sources at the AIIMS say Munde's condition is serious and he is likely to be shifted to the ICU soon. A medical bulletin on his health is expected shortly.
The accident happened when Munde was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport to fly to Mumbai. It took place when Munde's car was moving from Lodhi Road towards the Aurobindo Chowk.
Munde is the Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Sanitation. He had a victory rally scheduled in Beed and Parali.
