Panaji: Ahead of the Goa Assembly polls on March 3, the NCP has sent a report informing about "dissensions" within the state unit to the party high command.
The report speaks about the differences within the party organisation and also dispute between local leaders and state observer Bharti Chawan, sources said.
"I have submitted the factual report to the high command. Now it is up to them to take action," Goa NCP chief Surendra Sirsat said.
He, however, refused to divulge contents of the report claiming it as "highly confidential". Sources in NCP, however, said that the report has extensively highlighted the affairs of the party specifically about the differences between local leaders and the state observer.
NCP which is in talks with Congress for pre-poll alliance has been facing internal bickering in the state, they said. Party's senior leader Praful Patel will be arriving in the state on February 2 to take stock of the situation.
Sirsat said that Patel would be meeting the Core Committee, state executive and also poll aspirants to take stock of the situation.
NCP had recently suspended its national secretary Jitendra Deshprabhu after his arrest in illegal mining scam, whereas former minister Fransisco Micky Pacheco had also resigned from the party to join regional political outfit Goa Vikas Party.
The NCP won three seats in 2007 polls. Two NCP legislators were inducted in the Digambar Kamat government.
