New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh has once again taken a dig at the BJP's prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Digvijaya, who attacks Modi on a regular basis, has tweeted that Modi must learn austerity and humility from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Singh has suggested that Modi should use a Nano car instead of a fleet of luxury SUVs. This advice is likely to draw sharp reactions from both Modi supporters and critics as Singh has been a vocal critic of the Aaa Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal.
His new found love for Kejriwal will surely attract more criticism from Modi fans. Digvijaya Singh, who was the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for 10 years, drives a battered Ambassador car.
In his tweet, he said: "Modi should learn austerity and humility from Kejriwal and Mamta who use Wagoner and Maruti Alto. Shouldn't NAMO be using NANO?"
