The Kerala Chief Minister said the Congress suffered a major setback only in Goa.
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Tuesday said Congress could not get the results it expected in elections to five state assemblies, but had improved its position in those states.
"We expected better results. However, Congress could improve its position in all states except Goa, which I would not rate as a great achievement," he said.
He said the Congress suffered a major setback only in Goa.
Asked why Congress fared so badly in Uttar Pradesh, where Rahul Gandhi was the star campaigner, he said the party leadership would analyse the reasons for the debacle.
