Hyderabad: In a major embarrassment for Andhra Minister Ravela Kishore, his son has been booked for eve-teasing and misbehaving with a woman in Hyderabad.

A woman on Friday lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police station that Ravela Kishore, son of Andhra Pradesh's Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu, misbehaved with her on Road Number 13, Banjara Hills on Thursday evening.

Kishore, who was allegedly in an inebriated condition, caught hold of the hand of the woman, who was walking on the road. His driver Appa Rao was at the wheels.

"They held my hand and asked me to get into the car, I somehow escaped. Then complained to my husband who recognized them and made the locals beat him up. Then we complained to the police after which I came to know that he is the son of a minister," the complainant said.

The relatives of the woman alleged that police were not taking action against the accused. They demanded immediate arrest of the minister's son.

Police said they will take necessary action after investigation.
