NEET PG Admissions 2023 Round 3 Seat Allocation Result Likely Tomorrow at mcc.nic.in
The NEET PG 2023 seat allotment result is expected to be announced tomorrow, September 28. However, the extension of the choice locking window may cause a delay

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has concluded the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) choice locking facility for round 3 of counselling. The round-3 choice filling window for NEET PG 2023 concluded at 8 AM today, September 27. As soon as the NEET PG cut-off 2023 percentile was set to zero, the choice filling and locking window reopened. Several medical graduates expressed discontent with the MCC’s decision to set the NEET PG 2023 counselling qualifying percentage to “zero.”

“The NEET PG choice filling for round 3 of PG counselling 2023 has been extended up to 08:00 A.M of 27.09.2023. The Choice Locking will get activated from 06:00 AM of 27.09.2023,” in accordance with the statement on the MCC website.

The seat allocation result could be delayed as a result of the choice locking window’s deadline extension. The NEET PG 2023 seat allocation result is scheduled to be released tomorrow, September 28 at at mcc.nic.in. Those who have been allocated seats must report to the designated colleges between September 29 and October 6. The dates for NEET PG stray round counselling in 2023 have also been released. Registration for the NEET PG stray round and selection process will commence on October 9.

In India, there are over 70,000 PG medical seats available. Each year, 2,000–2500 of these seats go unoccupied. Several seats in specialties like physiology, anatomy, and biochemistry have remained unfilled after two rounds of NEET-PG 2023 counselling.

Prior to the implementation of the zero percentile cut-off policy, the NEET PG cut-off was set at 50 per cent for general/unreserved category applicants, 45 per cent for applicants with disabilities (PwD), and 40 per cent for those from other reserved categories.

The NEET PG 2023 counselling intends to streamline admissions to 50 per cent of AIQ seats and 100 per cent of seats in deemed and central universities and ESIC institutes. This year, there are four rounds of NEET PG 2023 counselling: round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round. Based on the choices selected by the students, a merit list for NEET PG 2023 counselling will be generated.
