Ahead of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro launch, the company itself has revealed images of the iQOO 12 Pro. These models, set to succeed the iQOO 11, have been confirmed to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and with the official design for the BMW M Motorsport edition now released, we now have a rough idea of what to expect from the iQOO 12 series.
A company official took to Weibo to unveil teaser images for the iQOO 12 Pro. From the images, we can observe a slightly curved back with glossy finishing. Notably, aside from the BMW M logo, which reads “Fascination Meets Innovation,” there are no prominent branding logos on the device.
Furthermore, the camera module appears to be a square with curved edges (squirqle?), featuring the ‘100X’ branding, suggesting that the iQOO 12 Pro’s cameras will support a 100X digital zoom feature–similar to other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The module itself seems relatively large, nearly occupying the entire top half of the device. And we can clearly see that there are three camera lens, so it could have the 100X telephoto, a wide lens and an ultra wide lens.
iQOO devices, especially the flagship models, are known for their performance and gaming capabilities. This year, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro are confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the latest upcoming flagship chipset. Additionally, the phones could get 144 Hz OLED panels, which would make for a good gaming experience.
The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are set to launch in China on November 7, and it is only a matter of time before the same is announced for the Indian market.
