Cricket fans all over the country grandly celebrated Team India’s win in the ICC World Cup match against South Africa on Sunday. While many of them decided to party all night, others resorted to social media to send congratulatory wishes. After the glorious win, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was declared the best fielder for his tactical awareness team South Africa. The match was held at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata and it was a testament to India’s prowess on the field. The award to Rohit was presented by Indian fielding coach T Dilip. Now, a video which is doing rounds on social media shows the coach giving a speech before presenting the award.
“Beauty of our team is that we just fly on the field but also we just don’t field with our hands but genuine commitment,” the coach starts his speech. Further, he goes on to praise his players. Now, the speech has gone viral on social media and netizens cannot help but notice how impressive his speech is. “Mr. T Dilip makes better presentations than MBA grads,” wrote an ‘X’ user.

The ‘Fielder of the Match’ medal is a tradition introduced by India’s fielding coach, T Dilip. The aim is to recognise and encourage the outstanding fielding performances.

Rohit Sharma has added another feather to his cap by winning this prestigious accolade. The award was presented to him by Shreyas Iyer.
