The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released an important notice on September 12 regarding the submission of registration data for Class 9 and 11 students. The board has announced that the registration of the candidates will be done via the CBSE Pariksha Sangam link that is available on the official website at cbse.gov.in. “As submission of the registration data by adhering to the schedule is very important, the schools are therefore requested to plan timely submission of data of the candidates,” read the official notice.

The CBSE has also mentioned that, in addition to adhering to the schedule, it is important that the data entered is correct. In this regard, the board had previously advised schools to maintain the necessary data on hand so that when the registration process begins, the correct data for registration is provided on time. It is to be noted that candidates whose names will be submitted via the online process of submission of registration data will be allowed to sit for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the academic session 2024-25.

According to the official notice, the registration process for submission of data of Classes 9 and 11 candidates began on September 12. The deadline to submit the details of the candidates is October 12.

Additionally, the data of Class 9 and 11 students must be entered into the OASIS platform. However, before students may be registered, existing schools are required to update their data on the OASIS and HPE portals.

Once the details are filled out, no window/facility for editing the supplied data will be available. It is the duty of the school to upload the correct data. The spelling of the student’s name, mother, father, guardian, and date of birth should be correct and consistent with the school’s admission and withdrawal register.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Registration Fee

The class 9 and 11 board examination registration fee has been set at Rs 300 for Indian students. International students will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for class 9 and Rs 600 for class 11. The registration data can be provided until October 13, with late fees of Rs 2,300 for Indian students, and Rs 2,500 and Rs 2,600 for Class 9 and Class 11 international students respectively.

Registration without Late Fee –  September 12 to October 12.

Registration with Late Fee – October 13 to October 25.
