As the ballot counting progresses in the four states, initial trends indicate the BJP leading in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, as well as Chhattisgarh, while the Congress is ahead in Telangana.
Scores of party workers have started celebrating in their states respectively. As early election trends hinted at a favorable outcome for the BJP in Rajasthan, jubilant celebrations erupted at the party headquarters on Sunday. Women workers at the office enthusiastically chanted slogans in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing confidence in a resounding victory for the BJP and the formation of the government.

BJP women workers are all smile as they celebrate the early trends indicating a win for BJP in three states, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan.

Congress workers took the celebrations a notch higher with pouring milk on a poster featuring Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, party MP Rahul Gandhi and state party chief Revanth Reddy as the party is leading in the state. As per the official EC trends, the party is leading on 57 of the total 119 seats in the state so far.

Joyful festivities unfolded outside the residence of Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad, mirroring the party’s lead in the official election trends.

At the BJP office in Jaipur, party workers danced and celebrated as the party maintained its lead in the state. According to official Election Commission trends, the BJP is at 115, while the Congress stands at 67.
