“I have achieved everything in my life”, said the boxer.

The 41-year-old from the village of Kangathei in Manipur revolutionised the sport of boxing in the nation and kindled the spirits of men and women across the country to pick up the boxing gloves through her inspirational exploits.

The pugilist’s peak career moment came at the 2012 London Olympics as the Indian claimed a bronze medal in the women’s 51 kg category.
