Shoaib Malik, 41, surprised fans with the revelation of his marriage to Sana Javed. The cricketer shared the first-ever pictures from their wedding on his Instagram, instantly breaking the internet. For the occasion, Shoaib Malik donned a white sherwani adorned with intricate golden detailing, while Sana looked resplendent in a green and pink bridal ensemble with elaborate threadwork. She paired her look with exquisite polki jewellery, including a necklace, matching earrings, maang teeka, and paasa.

Prior to his union with Sana Javed, Shoaib Malik had been married to Sania Mirza. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Hyderabad in April 2010 and were based in Dubai. Their union blessed them with a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, born in 2018. Reports suggest that Shoaib and Sania have since parted ways but continue to co-parent Izhaan. Last year, the duo even hosted a chat show titled The Mirza Malik Show on Spotify.

Shoaib Malik, who made his international cricket debut in 1999, captained the Pakistan cricket team across various formats before playing his last international game against Bangladesh in 2021. Meanwhile, Sania Mirza, with an illustrious tennis career, clinched 43 WTA doubles titles and one singles trophy before announcing her retirement from tennis last year.

For those unfamiliar with Sana Javed’s past, she was previously married to Pakistani actor and singer Umair Jaswal. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in 2020 and appeared blissfully happy in their wedding pictures. However, within a year, their marriage encountered difficulties, leading to their separation in November 2021. Both Sana and Umair removed all traces of their shared moments from their respective Instagram accounts.
