A Russian actress Polina Menshikh died while performing for the Russian troops in a Russian-controlled area of eastern Ukraine. She was a choreographer, playwright and the director of the ethnic dance theatre Nezhen. The actress lost her life after Ukraine attacked the Kumachovo village of Donetsk’s Starobenshevsky district, as per the report of TASS–a Russian news agency. Nezhen Ethnic Dance Theater confirmed the news of the 40-year-old actress on November 19. The military officials have not confirmed that there has been an attack in the area by Ukrainian forces. A video of the same is now going viral in which the actress is seen performing on the stage while the bombing took place.
As per the latest viral video, Russian actress Polina Menshikh is performing on the stage for the Russian soldiers. She was seen playing guitar before a loud blast was heard at the venue. The video is now been circulated across social media. “ It is with great pain that we inform you that Polina Menshikh died during a performance in the Donbas as a result of shelling” quoted TASS News Agency.

A Russian military investigator revealed that a school and cultural centre had been hit by HIMARS missiles on November 19 by Ukrainian forces quoted by Russian state television. The Ukranian commanders also said their forces had attacked a Russian military award ceremony. Their objective was to target Russia’s 810th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade. Robert Brovdi, a Ukrainian military commander said that 25 people had been killed in the strike. More than 100 people have been wounded in this attack.
Polina Menshikh has staged many performances and donned various characters during her career. According to reports, the actress was the head of the Lege Artis theatre studio. She was the director of this theatre from 2011 to 2016. In 2018, she performed at the Museum at the Zamoskvorechye Central Children’s Theater. The actress founded the Nezhen ethnic dance theatre. She became the director of this theatre in 2021.
