Ajay Devgn had reportedly stopped filming for Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 after he sustained an injury in his eye, according to reports. It was reported earlier this month that while shooting an action-packed scene for the film in Mumbai, the fight scene took a wrong turn, leaving Ajay injured. Now, new reports claim that Ajay will return to shoot the film in January at Ramoji Film City.
Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “On the day Ajay Devgn was hit on his eyes, he went to the doctor and quickly returned to the set to finish his work for the day as he believes in the philosophy of ‘Show Must Go On’. Post that, Rohit continued to shoot for the film as planned with other artists and the crew at Golden Tobacco in Andheri. He recently called it a wrap on the Mumbai schedule and is now gearing up for the next marathon schedule of Singham Again at Ramoji Film City.”
“All the members forming part of the principal cast will be joining the next schedule at some point of time, and Ajay Devgn will be constantly shooting for the film over a period of next 30 days,” the source added.
Singham 3 is expected to be a starry ride at the cinemas. The film not only brings back Ajay Devgn as Singham but it also marks the return of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor and will feature the first lady Singham in the form of Deepika Padukone. The film also introduces Tiger Shroff into the cop universe.
It is rumoured that Arjun Kapoor could be playing the villain in the film but Rohit is yet to react to the claims. Singham 3 aka Singham Again is slated to release on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
