Adarsh Gourav Turned Non-veg For Kho Gaye Hum Kahan Body Transformation, Says Trainer Robin Behl | Exclusive
Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which deals with the subject of significant perils of social media, saw Adarsh Gourav playing the role of a calisthenics instructor.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, featuring Adarsh Gourav, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi which recently released on Netflix has received a positive reactions. The film which deals with the subject of significant perils of social media saw Gourav playing the role of a calisthenics instructor.

His physique in the film is has been one of the things that has been spoken of widely. To get a prefect body the actor trained with a Robin Behl, co founder of The Tribe and a master trainer to achieve his much admired body. Talking about Gourav’s routine, Behl said that the director of the film Arjun Varain Singh had given him a brief of he wanted the actor to look, “Arjun had told me that he wanted Adarsh to look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club.”

The fitness expert adds that The White Tiger-actor started with a super lean body. He says, “We eventually built up for this role with a combination of calisthenics training and skill work for aesthetic and strength. His routine was finished with weight lifting to add finesse to the muscles. I also feel that not just as part of his role, calisthenics is a superb way to workout using body weight strength wherein you use your body weight to build strength.”

To make the workout routines more intense, Behl says that Gourav started doing the same movements with weight belts around him. He says, “We added more weights to his body to do weighted pull ups, dips, and muscle ups. To make it another level harder, he had also done towel pull ups to.”

These intense sessions were complemented by a well thought nutrition plan by Mishti Khatri. “We would work in sync with each other to give Adarsh the desired body through a combination of the right foods and how I would use that energy at his workout sessions. We started with 3400 calories, and even though Adarsh is a vegetarian, he turned non-vegetarian to achieve this body,” he says adding, “Adarsh as a student is amazing. I’ve never had a better student. He showed up half an hour before time, was always ready to go when needed, and didn’t miss a single day of training.”
