Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is on cloud nine, just like every other cricket fan. The actress celebrated Team India’s win with a heartfelt congratulatory note for Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for their team’s victory.

India surprised everyone by winning their second ICC T20 World Cup title with a seven-run victory over South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday. After securing victory in the T20 World Cup, the emotions ran high among Team India members. Rohit Sharma was overwhelmed and fell to the ground, while Rahul Dravid leapt from his chair in excitement.

After an incredible T20 World Cup win for India, Virat Kohli also announced his retirement from this format, urging the next generation to step in the cricket league. Opening up on the retirement, Virat Kohli shared, “This was my last T20 World Cup, this is exactly what we wanted to achieve,” Kohli told the broadcasters after India ended a 11-ear ICC title drought.One day you feel like you can’t get a run and this happens, God is great. (It is) just the occasion, now or never kind of situation. This was my last T20 game playing for India. We wanted to lift that cup.”

He added, “Yes I have, this was an open secret (retirement). Not something that I wasn’t going to announce even if we had lost. Time for the next generation to take the T20 game forward.”
