Saira Babu Remembers 'True Patriot' Dilip Kumar With A Throwback Gold

Saira Banu’s note said, “Dilip Sahib, a true patriot, always yearned for the best for our marvellous nation. As a conscientious citizen, he unfailingly upheld the importance of exercising the right to vote. Every election, he would dutifully cast his vote, striving for the betterment of our homeland.”

In her post, she also wrote about how she and Dilip Kumar would make voting day a special occasion, turning it into a celebration of their civic duty. After their marriage, they would venture out together to vote, accompanied by fans who admired their dedication to the nation.

She encouraged citizens to follow in the footsteps of her late husband, who always made it a point to vote and contribute to the country’s success. “As this voting day approaches, I urge everyone to exercise their right to vote and contribute to our nation’s success. Vote, for it is not only our right but our duty to shape the destiny of our beloved nation,” she further added.

Saira Banu’s appeal comes at a crucial time when the fifth phase of the elections is underway across six states and two Union Territories. The actress’ appeal is part of a larger movement in which various Bollywood celebrities have also urged citizens to vote.
