In 2014, Vijay Milton made the Tamil movie Goli Soda which had Kishore DS and Sree Raam as the main leads. The film narrates the story of four boys who work and live together in a market. While the low-budget movie became an unexpected success, a simple Class 11 girl with no previous experience of facing the camera became extremely popular throughout the movie. We are talking about Seetha who played Vanmathi or ATM in the movie. Seetha received accolades for her performance which infused both emotional drama and comedy.
The story of how she landed the role is quite interesting. While walking on the beach with her friends near her home, the Class 11 student was approached by director Vijay Milton for a movie role. She hurriedly took refuge in a friend’s house and then went home, believing she had dodged him. However, to her astonishment, Vijay Milton tracked her down by first visiting the friend’s house and then locating her home. And before she knew it, she was shooting for Goli Soda.
Her character, Vaanmathi aka ATM, charmed everyone. Initially ridiculed by the four friends, she later becomes the glue that holds her friends together, guiding them towards a new beginning. In an old interview, when asked if she minded being teased on screen, she said, “Not really. That character was very similar to what I am in real life. I don’t care what people say about how I look. I just live my life”

Vijay Milton later cast Seetha again in the 2015 film 10 Endrathukulla. Although her performance was once again appreciated, this film did not do well at the box office.
