Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is all set to make its debut in Japan. Yes, you are reading right. The action drama will be released on July 5. The makers on Sunday shared the good news which immediately went viral. In India, the film was loved and ruled the box office with its whooping collection of 700+ Cr.

Taking to their Instagram handle, Hombale Films shared the trailer of Salaar and wrote, “7月5日に、インドのアクションエンターテイナー『SALAAR』が日本の観客に登場します! #サラール #プラバース #Salaar #SalaarCeaseFire.” The world of Khansaar has fascinated global audiences and they are all raving about it the film leaves the masses with a surprise that sets the stage right for the sequel ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam’.

Pinkvilla has exclusively reported that the makers are aiming to release in 2025. Well, nothing has been made official till now. However, the entertainment portal has mentioned that shooting will start from Hyderabad.

Pinkvilla’s report says, “Salaar 2 is set to go on floors by the end of May with a 10-day schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. “Over the last 3 months, Prashanth and his team of writers have enhanced the script of Salaar 2 based on the feedback for the first part and are now all set to take the film on floors by the end of May. The journey takes off with Prabhas and Prithviraj joining in for a 10-day schedule in Hyderabad,” revealed a source close to the development.”

Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire stars Prabhas along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Made under the direction of Prashanth Neel, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Salaar has a duration of 2 hours and 55 minutes and was given an ‘A’ certificate by the censor board. The movie has several bloody combat scenes, violence, and battle scenes.

News18 Showsha’s review of the film read, “Overall, Salaar is only for Prabhas fans and for those who feel an assault on the senses is a form of cinema. But if you love your eardrums and have had your fill of the super-heroic exploits of an underdog-turned-top dog hero, you can give this film a probable miss.”
